GDPR – On May 25th, 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) became applicable, and among other things, it required certain adjustments in the ways organizations process Personal Data of individuals situated in the EU. We implemented the necessary changes to its product, processes, policies and agreements inlight of the GDPR requirements, so we meet the standard for data privacy introduced by this regulation.

Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO). In this data protection information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contact with us

If you contact us by form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored with us for six months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Data storage

We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing the webshop operator stores the IP data of the connection owner within the framework of cookies, as well as the name, address and credit card number […] of the buyer. In addition, the following data will also be stored by us for the purpose of contract processing: Order quantities. The data provided by you is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the execution of pre-contractual measures. Without these data we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data will not be transmitted to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of credit card data to the processing bank institutes / payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company / shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods and to our tax consultant for the fulfilment of our tax obligations. After the shopping process is aborted, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years). The data name, address, goods purchased and date of purchase will also be stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years).  Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for contract fulfilment) of the DSGVO.  

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your mobile device using the browser. They’re not doing any damage. We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. If you do not wish this, you can set your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service…[name of the tool and company of the provider, including information on whether data is transferred to a (non-European) third country]. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by your users. The information generated in this way is transferred to the provider’s server and stored there. You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for order data processing. Your IP address is recorded but pseudonymised immediately (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localization is possible. The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on google.com’s standard contractual clauses. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO. Our concern in the sense of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised. The user data is stored for the duration of the framework offered by the web analysis provider, but for at least 36 months.

Newsletter

You have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. In order to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process information voluntarily provided on areas of interest, birthday and postcode. As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration. You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to the address given in the e-mail. We will immediately delete your data in connection with sending the newsletter. The user data is stored for the duration of the framework offered by the web analysis provider, but for at least 36 months.

Your rights

In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection.
